Alissia & Jonathan – Eglinton West Gallery

Alissia and Jonathan’s wedding at Eglinton West Gallery blended modern style with a relaxed, anything-but-traditional vibe. As a Toronto wedding photographer, I love when couples trust the process and lean into an editorial approach. These two did exactly that. Their day felt intentional, stylish, and beautifully chaotic in the best way.

The morning began with quiet energy. Alissia got ready surrounded by her closest friends, and the room buzzed with equal parts makeup brushes and inside jokes. Soft window light created the perfect setting for bridal prep photos, and she photographed like a dream.

EDITORIAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT EWG

Their first look happened outside EWG. It was simple and genuine. No performance. No pressure. These moments always allow for the best candid, natural images. The expression on Jonathan’s face said everything—no dramatic dips or poses necessary.

Before guests arrived, we wandered inside and around the venue. The contrast of black & white walls and clean lines elevated the look of the images. We played with shadows, movement, scripted and unscripted moments. The result? Images that feel authentic and a little cinematic.

CANDID PHOTOGRAPHY MOMENTS AT EWG

EWG is one of Toronto’s most versatile wedding venues. Its blank-slate design allows couples to build a vibe that feels personal. Alissia and Jonathan leaned into warm lighting, modern florals, and bold accents. The space glowed by the time guests arrived. Everything felt sleek but comfortable—editorial but not intimidating.

The reception was a blend of toasts, incredible food, and dance floor energy that never dipped. The speeches landed with the right balance of humor and emotion. The dance party, though? Pure fire. Guests jumped, spun, and created some seriously frame-worthy moments.

Eglinton West Gallery proved once again why it’s one of the best modern venues in Toronto. And Alissia and Jonathan proved that a wedding doesn’t need to be overly fussy to feel unforgettable. Their day was stylish, warm, and joy-filled—everything a wedding photographer could hope for.
