ABOUT

What sets Toronto wedding photography apart from other cities? I believe we are blessed to live in a city with such rich and vibrant people. The diversity of Torontonians brings the best of different cultures, world traditions and family life to Toronto. This diversity and the opportunity to photograph a variety of cultures and their traditions, is truly exciting.

As a documentary wedding photographer, my goal is to create images that you can look back on with the fondest of memories. My role as your photographer and the responsibility of capturing some of the most special moments of your life, is an honour.

I first discovered my passion for photography in the 90’s. The film days! Fast forward to 2017 and the digital era. After stepping away from photography for many years, I decided it was time to get back to doing what I loved. I was drawn to street photography and documenting everyday life. Soon after, my passion for street photography evolved into portrait and fashion photography. In 2018, I was asked to photograph a wedding. Needless to say , I was hesitant, never having photographed a wedding before. I accepted the challenge! I fell in love with the variety of photography styles that are common throughout a wedding day. From that first wedding on, there was no looking back!

MY APPROACH

I am passionate about the work I do. I can honestly say that I’ve loved working with every couple that has let me document their big day. Every couple has their own vision for their day, and it’s my job to capture it. Knowing what you have planned to make your wedding day extra special to you is important to me. This helps me understand where to focus, as I seek to capture the memories of your big day.

Documenting a wedding day is a source of great pride for me. Everything from bridal preparations to the dance floor to memorable outtakes along the way. Making you, your family and friends feel comfortable in front of the camera, ensures I capture the moments that are important to you.

I understand how important it is to capture the beauty of your big day with images that you’ll love. Weddings are a defining moment in any couple’s love story, and authentically capturing the feeling of the day brings me great joy.

Whether your wedding is intimate, extravagant, or anything in between, I document the experience as a creative storyteller. I truly believe that a beautifully captured photo has the ability to hold true emotion. Getting to know you and your partner helps me understand who you are as a couple. This translates directly into your photos as you look back at the images.

DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY

Understanding your wedding plans is an important part of capturing amazing photos for you. For nearly all couples, your wedding day is a beautiful blur. Between interacting with guests, relishing in your new spouse, and dancing the night away, the entire experience can be over in the blink of an eye. Investing in an experienced wedding photographer like myself allows you to look back at the story I’m able to tell, time and time again.

The photos I take are a reflection of who you and your partner are both on your wedding day, and in your everyday lives. Even the smallest glance captured can tell a story. Knowing how, when and what to capture, is my strength and I strive to deliver this through my documentary style of photography.
