Maia and Frederick’s black-tie wedding at Harding Waterfront Estate in Mississauga was a beautiful celebration. As a wedding photographer, capturing the essence of their love story at such an amazing venue was a true privilege. The scenic waterfront setting and timeless elegance of the estate made their day even more special.

EDITORIAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Frederick, dressed in a black tuxedo, looked sharp. His anticipation was clear as he awaited his bride, and I could sense the excitement in his eyes as Maia made her way to the first look. The classic black-tie theme resonated throughout the event, from the formal attire to the elegant décor.

The ceremony itself was held outdoors, overlooking the water. As a wedding photographer, the moment was pure magic, with the vibrant colors of the sunset creating a dreamy atmosphere.

HARDING WATERFRONT ESTATE

After the ceremony, cocktail hour began, with guests making their way to the reception hall, shortly after. They decorated the space in classic black and white. Candlelight flickered across each table, adding a soft glow. Every detail felt refined yet warm. As the reception began, Lebanese drummers returned. This time, they led the bride and groom’s grand entrance. The energy in the room was electric. Cheers, dancing, and traditional Zaffe music welcomed the newlyweds.

Later, we stepped outside for a sunset photo session. The timing was perfect. Soft light bathed the couple in warm tones. The scene was calm, with just the right hint of light and shadow. These portraits were styled but still natural—blending art with genuine connection. Back inside, heartfelt speeches and lively dancing continued well into the night. They honoured traditions and created lasting memories. Through it all, every moment was approached with a documentary photographer’s eye.

This celebration wasn’t just a wedding—it was a story of love, heritage, and style.
