Hannah and Justin’s wedding at The Old Mill in Toronto was a seamless blend of romance, tradition, and modern flair. As their wedding photographer, I had the honor of capturing every detail with a mix of documentary and editorial style—true to the essence of who they are.

Set against the charming backdrop of The Old Mill, their day began with portrait sessions for both the Bride & the Groom. The heritage venue offered warm textures, stone walls, and wood-beamed ceilings—ideal for timeless wedding photography.

TORONTO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Hannah wore a sleek gown, modern in design yet steeped in elegance. Justin, dressed in a tailored black suit, held his composure until their first look—one of the most emotional moments of the day. It was real, unposed, and a wonderful moment.

As a photographer with a documentary eye, I love capturing these raw, unscripted interactions. The laughter during the vows, a subtle hand squeeze, glances during speeches—those are the shots that matter most. Each frame from their wedding tells a story without needing words.

DOCUMENTARY STYLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Their second photo session was taken just before sunset in the gardens surrounding The Old Mill. The golden light gave everything a soft, cinematic feel. This short session allowed us to craft beautiful images without taking them away from the celebration for too long.

The reception was full of energy. Hannah and Justin’s entrance lit up the room, and the dance floor never emptied.

Photographing weddings like Hannah and Justin’s reminds me why I do this. It’s not about trends or perfection—it’s about people, moments, and honest storytelling. Their wedding felt both deeply personal and effortlessly stylish, and The Old Mill was the perfect stage for it.
