XRISTINA & ARGIRIS – FLORINA, GREECE
Xristina and Argiris chose to get married in one of the most magical cities in Greece, Florina. Their wedding day featured old-world charm, traditional Greek elements, and a modern spin on a classic feel.
Florina is one of the most charming places to get married in Greece, with its beautiful landscape and traditional architecture. It is a uniquely beautiful city located in the northwest part of Greece. It has a great climate, stunning views, and the people are warm and welcoming. Florina is famous for its rich history and has many churches and monasteries that have been there since ancient times.
Some of the most notable spots in this city are the Byzantine churches of Agioi Apostoloi, Agia Paraskevi, or Grapto Nymfio & Agion Oros. For those that prefer to explore nature, visit the Kato Achaia area, where you can see Mount Tymfristos. Or, go hiking from Mavrovouni to Alakomenos village through the footpaths around Lake Kremasta, which connects both villages with each other. No matter what activity you choose, Florina is sure to offer a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The wedding day of Xristina and Argiris was one of the most unique that I have ever shot as a photographer. The inclusion of traditional Greek ceremony features made the day intimate, personal, and one of a kind.
This couple shared a beautiful love that is translated seamlessly through their photos. The looks shared between the two spoke of infinite respect, appreciation, and admiration. It was an absolute pleasure to spend this special time with them, and I am grateful for the immersion in their’s and mine, incredible Greek culture.
