MILENA & STEVE
Milena and Steve tied the knot in a cozy setting in downtown Toronto, surrounded by their closest family and friends. Their wedding offered a small-scale intimacy that made each guest feel like family, including myself. Kimpton St. George was the location for both the ceremony and reception. This venue certainly had a lot to offer and did not dissapoint.
TORONTO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Kimpton St. George is a historic hotel in downtown Toronto that’s over 100 years old. I’ve shot weddings and engagements for many years, and this was one of my absolute favorites. The hotel itself has great character. It’s just blocks away from the city centre, but is tucked out of the way enough. There are lots of unique architectural details throughout, including stained glass windows, which make it perfect for scoring some architectural photography as well.
The photos in Milena and Steve’s gallery were taken at the Royal Ontario Museum as well as the University of Toronto. Both of these locations provided diverse backdrops that highlighted the intimacy between Milena and Steve. You’ll notice dark contrasts and solid stone, all of which play a part in creating a sense of vintage charm.
KIMPTON ST. GEORGE HOTEL – TORONTO, ONTARIO
While this gallery is filled with beautiful photographs featuring Milena, Steve, and their loved ones, one particular photo catches my eye. As they walk back down the aisle as husband and wife, the look on their faces is one of pure joy and contentment. As they are joined hand in hand, you can witness their guest’s faces beaming with pride, and the air is filled with love.
The opportunity to shoot Milena and Steve’s wedding was one that filled me with gratitude. This couple showcases a love that flows with ease, and the experience was one for the books.
